What date is 15 days from today?
The date at the top is today’s date plus 15 days, worked out live on your device, so this page is right whatever day you open it. Today counts as day 0 and the date shown is day 15. To count from another day, such as the date on a letter or an invoice, tap the start date.
15 days is 2 weeks and 1 day, so the date falls 1 weekday later than today: if today is a Monday, 15 days from today is a Tuesday.
Two examples to check a deadline: counted from January 1, 2027, 15 days later is Saturday, January 16, 2027; counted from July 1, 2027, it is Friday, July 16, 2027. To check by hand, jump 2 weeks ahead, which keeps the weekday, then count 1 more day.

Half a month, almost
Fifteen days is two weeks and one day, so the date falls one weekday later than today: a Monday gives the Tuesday two weeks later. It is roughly half a month, but months run from 28 to 31 days, so “mid-month” and “15 days from now” rarely match exactly.
The difference matters on payslips. Semimonthly pay arrives twice a month, often on the 15th and the last day: 24 paychecks a year. Biweekly pay arrives every 14 days, always on the same weekday: 26 paychecks in most years. Over a year, the gap adds up to two extra paydays for biweekly workers.
In business days, 15 days hold 10 or 11 weekdays depending on the starting day.
