Sts. Nereus, Achilleus and Pancras, May 12
Nereus and Achilleus were Roman soldiers who left the army after their conversion and were beheaded for their faith. Pancras was a boy of 14 martyred in Rome in 304; London’s St Pancras station takes its name from a church dedicated to him. All three have optional memorials on May 12.
On the General Roman Calendar, May 12 is an optional memorial: Saints Nereus and Achilleus, martyrs, and Saint Pancras, martyr.
