St. Vincent Ferrer, April 5
A Dominican from Valencia, Vincent Ferrer (1350-1419) preached across Spain, France, Italy and Switzerland, drawing huge crowds. He worked to end the Great Western Schism, when rival popes divided the Church. He died in Vannes, in Brittany.
