St. Scholastica, February 10
The twin sister of St. Benedict, Scholastica led a community of nuns near Monte Cassino. St. Gregory the Great tells of their last meeting, when her prayer raised a storm that kept Benedict talking with her all night. She died three days later, around 547.
On the General Roman Calendar, February 10 is a memorial: Saint Scholastica, virgin.
