St. Eulalia of Barcelona, February 12
Eulalia was a young Christian of Barcelona put to death around 304, during the persecution of Diocletian. She is a patron of the city, and her relics rest in the crypt of its cathedral. The same day honors the martyrs of Abitina, arrested for gathering for Sunday Mass.
February 12 has no celebration on the General Roman Calendar, so this page follows the Roman Martyrology, which remembers Saint Eulalia of Barcelona, virgin and martyr on this date.
