St. Euphrasia, March 13
Born into a noble family of Constantinople, Euphrasia was raised in an Egyptian convent and, at 12, asked the emperor to give her inheritance to the poor. She lived the rest of her short life as a nun in the Thebaid. She died around 420.
March 13 has no celebration on the General Roman Calendar, so this page follows the Roman Martyrology, which remembers Saint Euphrasia, virgin on this date.
