Guardian Angels, October 2
The Church honors the angels that, according to Scripture and tradition, God gives to watch over each person. Jesus warns not to despise the little ones, “for their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my heavenly Father.” The memorial was extended to the whole Church in 1670.
On the General Roman Calendar, October 2 is a memorial: The Holy Guardian Angels.
