Sts. Adrian and Natalia, August 26
Adrian was a Roman officer in Nicomedia who was so moved by the courage of the Christians he was torturing that he declared himself one of them. His wife Natalia, already a Christian, comforted him until his death around 304 and carried his relics to Byzantium. They are honored together.
August 26 has no celebration on the General Roman Calendar, so this page follows the Roman Martyrology, which remembers Saints Adrian and Natalia, martyrs on this date.
