Sts. Romanus and Lupicinus, February 28
Around 435, the brothers Romanus and Lupicinus retired to the forests of the Jura Mountains as hermits. Disciples flocked to them, and they founded the monasteries of Condat, the origin of the town of Saint-Claude in France. Romanus died around 463.
