Bl. Diana d’Andalò, June 10
A young noblewoman of Bologna, Diana (c. 1201-1236) made her vows to St. Dominic and, against her family’s will, founded the Dominican convent of St. Agnes. Her letters with Bl. Jordan of Saxony are a rare record of a spiritual friendship. She was beatified in 1888.
June 10 has no celebration on the General Roman Calendar, so this page follows the Roman Martyrology, which remembers Blessed Diana d’Andalò, virgin on this date.
