St. Cecilia, November 22
A young Roman noblewoman, Cecilia converted her husband Valerian and his brother Tiburtius and was martyred in the third century. Her story says she sang to God in her heart on her wedding day, which made her the patron of musicians. Her body was found incorrupt in 1599.
On the General Roman Calendar, November 22 is a memorial: Saint Cecilia, virgin and martyr.
