St. Catherine Labouré, November 28
The visionary of the Miraculous Medal, Catherine Labouré (1806-1876) spent forty years caring for elderly men at a hospice near Paris, telling no one but her confessor about her visions. Her identity was revealed only after her death. Her body rests in the chapel on the Rue du Bac.
November 28 has no celebration on the General Roman Calendar, so this page follows the Roman Martyrology, which remembers Saint Catherine Labouré, virgin on this date.
