St. Wolfgang, October 31
A Swabian monk and teacher, Wolfgang (c. 924-994) became bishop of Regensburg and reformed its clergy and monasteries. He tutored the future emperor St. Henry II. October 31 is also the eve of All Saints, All Hallows’ Eve, or Halloween.
October 31 has no celebration on the General Roman Calendar, so this page follows the Roman Martyrology, which remembers Saint Wolfgang, bishop of Regensburg on this date.
